Lycanthrope cult bombs the Hold!

It was an ordinary day at the Hold, with people going around shopping and I was enjoying an enthusiastic walk after getting a bag of holding for my travels. As I was finishing putting some items into the bag, a bomb went off causing me to receive some wounds. I ran outside and found a group fighting of 3 lycanthropes a rat, wolf, and a boar. With the help of a Hold guardian we killed the bandits and interrogated the dead who was leading the attack.

After finding out the location, the Hold Guardian left to find survivors while the ragtag team of adventurers (myself included) ran to the fountain. On the way we saved a family and knocked three thugs down with one comically getting trapped into a burning building, with the door coincidentally getting locked. After we got to the fountain, a group of adventurers from the Hold consisting of two archers, a knight, and a rookie mage came to aid us and we proceeded to attack the cult leader and his followers who were summoning a monster.

The battle was fierce as the shifter and "tank" of the team faced off against a werebear with the aid of a giant constrictor snake while the second group faced off against the protected chanters. We were unfortunately unable to stop the summoning of an Aspect of Kazgoroth appeared consuming the devout. His blast killed the kind group who aided us in the battle and almost took out our shifter bard/rouge but he narrowly escaped the acid blast. After a few blasts of magic and cheating with death. It was destroyed and we quickly went around putting out the fires and finding survivors. I wish to honor those who have lost their lives and will seek to find the truth of this tragedy.
